In this webinar, we will be joined by Shadia Maharban to share the importance and benefits of including women at the negotiating table, and how we can do more to include women’s voices in DSF mediations. As a member of the Free Aceh Movement’s (GAM) peace negotiating team in Helsinki (2005) which ended 30 years of conflict, Shadia Maharban is an international mediator and a consultant for women’s involvement in peace processes for governments and NGOs in Southeast Asia.
