The RSPO commissioned a study carried out by ECHO Research from 23 January to 10 March 2023. The objective of this survey was to increase RSPO’s understanding of the knowledge, perception, interest and attitudes of all relevant stakeholders towards certified sustainable palm oil and towards RSPO as a key actor in this space.
The survey has revealed that the RSPO enjoys a strong reputation, with a high level of advocacy and a significantly larger number of advocates compared to critics. RSPO scores particularly highly for its positive impact, relevance and trustworthiness, while responsiveness is the weakest performing reputation attribute.
The RSPO Stakeholder Engagement team would like to thank all those who participated in this survey. Your inputs and insights are highly valuable in helping us measure awareness and reputation.
The results of this first survey will serve as the baseline, and the exercise will be carried out annually for the next three years.
You can view the results here.
