RSPO JOINS PANEL AT RTRS ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN BEIJING
RSPO Secretary General Darrel Webber attended the 8th International Conference of the Roundtable on Responsible Soy (RTRS) in Beijing in May. This year’s meeting (RT8) marked the first time the conference has been held in Asia. As part of the conference Darrel participated in a panel discussion on roundtable issues and the Asian perspective.
Also on the panel was Augustin Mascotena, Executive Director, RTRS; Nick Goodall, Chief Executive, Bonsucro; and Li Nan, Director of Market Transformation Initiative, WWF China. A lively discussion covered a diverse range of topics, including the harmonization of standards, the role of China and RSPO’s successes so far.
