Natural Habitats Sierra Leone has proposed a new planting area known as Zimmi, located approximately 351 km by road in the south-eastern direction from Freetown (the Capital City of Sierra Leone) and takes approximately 5-8 hours to drive to. It covers the entirety of the Makpele chiefdom, in Pujehun District, Southern Province, Sierra Leone. The summary report of Natural Habitats Sierra Leone New Planting Assessment is now open for public comments for 30 days as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedures (NPP).
