RSPO will be launching its new RSPO Trademark Website, www.betterpalmoil.org, on 31st May 2013. The launching of this new website is to kick start a series of events and activities to celebrate the second anniversary of the RSPO Trademark on 1st June 2013.
Since its launch in 2011, the number of RSPO Trademark Licensees have been growing steadily with more than 110 RSPO members currently using the RSPO Trademark to enable their consumers to make an informed choice. It also empowers consumers in actively supporting and being part of RSPO’s efforts to transform the market to make sustainable palm oil the norm.
The RSPO Trademark website also aims to address consumers with limited understanding of sustainable palm oil, thus raising awareness and comprehension of the scenario surrounding palm oil, especially with regards to the benefits and importance of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO).
The consumer-centric website will feature key messages and interactive sections that provide useful information that will guide consumers in making an informed choice as well as to provide consumers with information on products that contain sustainable palm oil in that is available in the market and news about companies that pledge to source for CSPO.
