On March 6th 2014 the Board of Governors of the RSPO has accepted the recommendations of the Compensation Task Force (CTF) to start a staged implementation of the Remediation and Compensation Procedures. The staged implementation, with an effective start date of May 9th, 2014, requires all RSPO members who own and/or manage land for oil palm production to comply with the Remediation and Compensation Procedures.
During the staged implementation period, RSPO will be organising an Outreach Program to share the details of this compensation mechanism with RSPO members. To reach out to a wider audience, the outreach program will be conducted in Malaysia, Indonesia, Ghana and Colombia. Information on the outreach program in Bogota, Colombia are presented below.

Registration starts at 8.30 am and lunch is provided. The outreach program is open to all RSPO members. There is no fee required to attend the event however, registration is necessary. Interested individuals or organisations are requested to confirm attendance by 18th July 2014.
