The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is pleased to announce that the Annual Roundtable Conference on Sustainable Palm Oil (RT2024) will be held from 11 – 13 November 2024 at Amari Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand.
The theme of RT2024 is “Partners for the Next 20: Innovating for Impact”. We are confident that RT2024 in Bangkok, Thailand will open up more opportunities for RSPO and our partners to achieve our shared vision of making palm oil sustainable as we head towards the next 20 years.
RT2024 will be an excellent platform to network, explore new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, meet potential business partners, and increase awareness of your brand and its role in promoting certified sustainable palm oil.
FROM VISION TO INNOVATION
Our milestone 20th anniversary has given us the chance to reflect on the key moments since the founding of our global partnership. From the historic gathering of visionaries leading the charge of sustainable palm oil, to unlocking a global standard that would reshape the landscape of palm oil production, to partnering with smallholders in their sustainability journey – RSPO has much to be proud of for the incredible progress made in the pursuit of making palm oil sustainable.
Now is the time to look ahead. This year’s RT calls us to sharpen our focus on the future of RSPO, and to mobilise strategic, concerted action over the coming years. The tremendous socioeconomic and environmental challenges have not abated, which is why it is so fundamental for us to innovate and evolve. Leveraging our experience and the lessons of the past two decades, we are more equipped today to work on building a more resilient, responsive and responsible palm oil ecosystem. We have already accelerated our efforts towards digital transformation, with the development of prisma, our streamlined certification, trade and traceability platform. We will continue to upgrade our Standards and bolster our systems and processes to be in step with the changing market and to streamline compliance with emerging regulatory requirements worldwide.
Amidst this exciting next stage for the RSPO partnership, I look forward to seeing you all in Bangkok for RT2024 to reaffirm our commitment and support for each other. Building on each other’s insights and expertise, we continue to grow stronger together, advancing our mission for a more sustainable and equitable palm oil future.
