The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is initiating its five year review cycle of the 2020 RSPO Supply Chain Certification (SCC) Standard. This document outlines the requirements related to the control of RSPO Certified oil palm products in the supply chain, including flows of RSPO Certified oil palm products and associated claims.
The objective of this review is to address any relevant issues and bridge any gaps in the supply chain requirements, ensuring a successful transition to an RSPO Certified oil palm products supply chain. By regularly reviewing the Supply Chain Certification Standard, the RSPO demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring the framework remains robust, credible, and adaptable to emerging sustainability challenges. This process allows the RSPO to address gaps, enhance accountability, and align its practices with evolving global priorities
The RSPO Secretariat welcomes public feedback on the current SCC Standard via the survey link below, which will be carried out from 10 February to 2 March 2025 as an initial public consultation. RSPO greatly appreciates any recommendations provided and recognises that your responses will be valuable to carry out the SCC Standard review. This survey is expected to highlight positive aspects and existing challenges, as well as identify potential areas for improvement, providing an opportunity for all stakeholders to express their views.
The survey is available in Spanish, French, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese and Chinese. Thank you in advance for your participation.
Should you have any questions regarding the survey, feel free to contact Maria Papadopoulou and Liyana Zulkipli at this email: sccstandardreview@rspo.org
