SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY STORY

Koperasi Landskap Kelapa Sawit Sabah Berhad (LKSS) is an organisation established in Tawau in 2019. The main purpose of this organisation is to help oil palm owners apply for MSPO, which is a sustainable management concept of oil palm farms supported by our Malaysian government, MPOCC and other government agencies. However, as the organisation grows, the group intends to apply for RSPO Certification for both smallholders and medium-sized growers in order to improve their efficiency and also productivity.

“We hope that more of our members will follow in the footsteps of these 25 smallholders. Meanwhile our sustainability team will continue to support the 25 smallholders to prepare for the next phase”

- Shim Nyuk Min, Chairman of LKSS

How you can support

We are currently working closely with RSPO Certified Independent Smallholders across provinces in Indonesia to provide a subset of trainings to improve their livelihoods while their certification is maintained.

More than 5,860 farmers who have implemented Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and good governance in their groups are seeking your commitment to buy their RSPO Credits through the PalmTrace platforms. Purchasing RSPO Credits supports smallholders in addressing environmental and social issues.
