As part of our on-going capacity building programme, Proforest is running a Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Lead Auditor training course from 1 to 5 September 2014 in Guatemala. This 5-day course is designed for auditors who plan to carry out assessments against the RSPO producer standard. It is also appropriate for company staff who are responsible for meeting RSPO requirements, and other stakeholders, such as NGOs and government officials who want to learn about RSPO standards and systems. The course includes lectures, workshops, a practical audit exercise and a written examination.

Successful completion of the course is one requirement to be able to lead RSPO audits.
