As a part of the commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of RSPO’s assurance programs, including assessments (HCV, SEIA, GHG), verification (NPP), audits (CB) and oversight (including ASI accreditation), the Assurance Task Force is pleased to present their Quarterly Progress report for Q2.

In this report, key updates include, but are not limited to:

  • Completion of  training module for HCV Assessor Licensing Scheme (ALS) and on clear, mandatory minimum guidelines on assessment of Free Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) in New Planting Procedure (NPP) process. HCV Assessor training was held via webinar in multiple languages. The mandatory guidelines on FPIC and NPP module was held  in person at the CB Workshop in Indonesia. Additional workshops are scheduled to be held in other regions over the next year.

  • Review of complaints mechanism, accessibility and feedback system – hosted by RSPO, ASI, HCVRN, respectively. The RSPO Complaints and Appeal Procedure was endorsed by Board of Governors on 14th June 2017.
