Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) PLC, a subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited has proposed a new development plan that covers an area of 748.44 ha for its scheme smallholder project – Adum Banso (Nana Kwandoh Brempong III Estate). The plantation properties are located in Mpohor District, Western Region, Ghana.

The NPP verification for Adum Banso (Nana Kwandoh Brempong III Estate) was conducted through document verification and on-site visit. SCS Global Services auditors conducted the document review in February 2024 and on-site verification from 17 to 21 June 2024.

The summary report of this area is now undergoing a 30-day public comments period as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2021 from 30 December 2024 until 28 January 2025.
