Oleoquímica Mexicana S.A. de C.V. has proposed a new development plan for its concession that covers an area of 655.51 ha located inside its operational area in Industrias Oleopalma S.A. de C.V. management unit. The plantation properties are located in the Ranchería Vicente Guerrero, Municipio de Balancán, Estado de Tabasco, México.
The NPP verification for Industrias Oleopalma S.A. de C.V. was conducted through document verification and on-site visit. IBD Certifications auditors conducted onsite verification on 5 July 2023, while desk study was conducted on 6 to 11 July 2023.
The summary report of this area is now undergoing a 30-day public comments period as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2021 from 1 November 2023 until 30 November 2023.
