New Britain Palm Oil Ltd has proposed a new development plan for its concession that covers an area of 967.86 ha located inside its operational area in the West New Britain management unit. The plantation properties are located in New Britain Palm Oil Limited, P O Kimbe, West New Britain, Papua New Guinea.
The NPP verification for West New Britain was conducted through document verification and on-site visit. Control Union auditors conducted document review on 17 to 18 August 2022 while on-site verification was done on 22 to 29 August 2022.
The summary report of this area is now undergoing a 30-day public comments period as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2021 from 12 January 2024 until 10 February 2024.
