Musim Mas Holdings has proposed a new development plan for its concession that covers an area of 597.64ha located inside its operational area in the PT Sarana Esa Cita (PT SEC) management unit. The plantation properties are located in Sambas, Subah, Sajad and Sejangkung District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia.

Due to travel restrictions, the NPP verification of PT SEC was conducted with reference to Scenario 3 of Contingency RSPO Audit Procedure in two stages. Control Union (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. auditors conducted a remote audit on 18 January 2021 and an on-site audit with the assistance of an audit facilitator on 25 January 2021.

The summary report of this area is now undergoing a 30-day public notification period as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2015 from 4 August 2021 until 2 September 2021.
