Musim Mas Holdings has proposed a new development plan for its concession that covers an area of 1372.53ha located inside its operational area in the PT Multipersada Gatramegah (PT MPG) management unit. The plantation properties are located in the Lahei Barat Sub-District, Teweh Tengah Sub-District of Barito Utara Regency, and LaungTuhup Sub-District of Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The NPP verification of PT MPG was conducted by Control Union (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd auditors. Due to travel restrictions imposed the NPP verification was conducted based on Audit Scenario 3 of the Contingency RSPO Audit Procedure in two stages where the remote verification was conducted on 30 November 2020 followed by the on-site verification conducted with the assistance from an Audit Facilitator on 28 Jan 2021.
The Summary report of this area is now undergoing 30 days of public notification as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2015 beginning from 9th June 2021 until 08th July 2021.
