Genting Plantation Berhad – PT Sawit Mitra Abadi has proposed a new planting for its concession that covers a NPP area of 1,000 ha and 229.63 HCV area located inside its operational area. The location of the new planting area is in Sub District of Nanga Tayap, District of Ketapang, Province of Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia. Desk study verification was conducted by PT Mutuagung Lestari auditors on 6th – 7th November 2019 followed by field verification on 19th October – 22nd November 2019.
The Summary report of this area is now undergoing the 30 days public Notification as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2015.
