First Resources Limited has proposed a new development plan for its concession that covers an area of 3,811.68 ha located inside its operational area in PT Mitra Karya Sentosa (PT MKS – Sanggau) management unit. The plantation properties are located in the Noyam and Sekayam Districts, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia.
The NPP verification of PT MKS was conducted through desk study and onsite verification. PT Mutuagung Lestari auditors conducted desk study on 10 to 11 February 2022, while onsite verification was conducted on 30 March to 1 April 2022.
The summary report of this area is now undergoing a 30-day public comments period as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2015 from 7 August 2023 until 5 September 2023.
