The RSPO NI document for Nigeria of the RSPO Principles and Criteria 2018 (P&C 2018) has been developed by the participatory multi-stakeholder groups which have included representation from the relevant sectors. Formation of this National Interpretation Working Group (NIWG) had ensured all required procedures, communications and actions taken are properly documented and recorded.
The RSPO NI document of Nigeria National Interpretation (Nigeria NI) has been drafted through a comprehensive development process including consultation with all relevant groups in producing departments to ensure that it accurately reflects the nature of the industry in Nigeria, particularly national legislation, and customs in the country whilst maintaining and, in some cases, strengthening the integrity of the RSPO requirements for certification.
We are now inviting Public consultation on the Nigeria National Interpretation 2020 draft. The draft is available in English language.

Consultation Period on the draft which is available for download on the RSPO website will begin from 15th May 2020 to 14th July 2020 for the period of 60-days.
