Bumitama Agri Ltd has proposed a new development plan for its concession that covers an area of 9,090.25 ha located inside its operational area in PT Karya Makmur Langgeng management unit. The plantation properties are located in Simpang Dua and Simpang Hulu subdistrict, Ketapang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia
The NPP verification for PT Karya Makmur Langgeng was conducted through document verification and on-site visit. TUV Rheinland auditors conducted document review on 18 September 2023 while on-site verification was done on 25 to 29 September 2023.
The summary report of this area is now undergoing a 30-day public comments period as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2021 from 12 January 2024 until 10 February 2024.
