The Peatland Working Group 2 (PLWG2) has revised the current “RSPO Manual on Best Management (BMPs) for Existing Oil Palm Cultivation on Peat” and the “RSPO Manual on Best Management (BMPs) for management & Rehab of Natural Vegetation Associated with Oil Palm Cultivation on Peat” which was originally published in June 2012.

This revision incorporates updates from the current guidance and best management practices, based on the most recent research on GHG emissions and water management. It also integrates the latest requirements based on Criterion 7.7 of the draft P&C 2018.

RSPO invites the public to review and comment on both drafts of the revised RSPO BMP manuals. The public consultation period will last for 30 days, from 30 October 2018 until 30 November 2018

All feedback forms must be emailed to [email protected] in the original MS word format by 30 November 2018, 5:00PM MYT.
