The draft of the revised RSPO Theory of Change (ToC) is now open for online Public Consultation. This is your opportunity to provide feedback, comments and suggestions on the draft revised ToC and the associated Narrative Document (draft).
The current RSPO ToC was first published in 2017, and in 2022 RSPO conducted an internal review of the ToC, concluding that revision was required for relevance and alignment with the recent evolution of the organisation. Regular revision of a sustainability system’s ToC is also a requirement of the ISEAL Code of Good Practice for Impacts. Reviewing and revising the ToC has been based on a participatory approach, reflecting both good practice in using the ToC and the progress towards intended impacts made thus far.
The purpose of revising and modifying the RSPO Theory of Change (ToC) is to update the current ToC to better articulate the intent and ambition of RSPO and the expected changes we seek to achieve, in order to be consistent with the evolution of RSPO’s overaching agenda, activities and strategic approach. It illustrates how all parts of RSPO, together with our members, partners and stakeholders, must continue to work collaboratively as a global partnership to make palm oil sustainable.
The Public Consultation period runs from 14 December 2023 to 26 January 2024.
All feedback, comments and suggestions will be collected via this online survey platform and must be submitted by 26 January 2024, 5:00 PM MYT (UTC+8).
