The RSPO Executive Board Meeting decided at its recent meeting on the 25 April 2013 to approve the RSPO smallholders’ membership fee structure, which will be implemented with immediate effect. The fee structure is as per the following:
Total (production) land area of Smallholders | Fee for Smallholder Group |
< 1,000 ha | Euro250/year |
1,000 to 2,000 ha | Euro 1,000/year |
>2,000 ha | Euro 2,000/year |
The membership of the Smallholder Group Manager will continue to remain under the Growers’ category. The above decision is an interim measure.
The RSPO’s Statutes will be reviewed and recommendation for any changes shall be proposed for endorsement by the Executive Board at the General Assembly in November 2013.
