RISS Indonesia National Interpretation Public Consultation 01 April 2021 – 30 May 2021

The RSPO Independent Smallholder Standard (RISS) Indonesia National Interpretation draft has been developed by participatory, multi-stakeholder groups, which include representation from the relevant RSPO membership sectors. The formation of a RISS Indonesia National Interpretation Task Force (RISS INA NI TF) ensures that all required procedures, communications, and actions taken have been properly documented and recorded.

The RISS Indonesia National Interpretation has been drafted through a comprehensive development process, including consultations with related government agencies and stakeholders to ensure the National Interpretation accurately reflects the nature of the independent smallholders of the oil palm industry in Indonesia, particularly its rules and regulations.

We are now calling for comments on the RISS Indonesia National Interpretation draft through a public consultation period of 60 days, from 01 April to 30 May 2021. The draft, available in English and Bahasa Indonesia versions along with a comment template, can be downloaded from the RSPO website.

You are invited to submit your questions, comments, and/or observations on the draft in the comment template below. All comments must be submitted to the RISS INA NI TF Secretariat at [email protected] by close of business on 31 May 2021.

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our members, we will not be organising face to face workshop, but webinar/zoom online consultation which will be held on 30 th April 2021 (dedicated for smallholders) and 7 th May 2021 (targeted other stakeholders/non smallholders), Further information on the webinar will be also provided a week prior to the dates.
