The updated version of the 2018 Principles and Criteria (P&C) Metrics Template, which was announced on 19 May 2021, is now revised to accommodate two amendments made on the reporting timeframes:

  • For economic metrics, members are allowed to submit 12-month data up to two months before the audit month, instead of one month before the audit month.

  • For an audit that is conducted in January, members are allowed to provide data (for all metrics) up to November of the previous calendar year, for both reporting timeframes (i.e. annual data for calendar year and 12-month period up to two months before audit month).

The revised Metrics Template (version 2.1) and its guidance document, which is available in Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Spanish, and French, can be downloaded here, and a detailed list of changes compared to version 1.0 (published in February 2021) can be viewed here.

The revised Metrics Template (version 2.1) will be enforced from 1 August 2021. For audits conducted during the transition period from 1 June to 31 July 2021, members and Certification Bodies are encouraged to use version 2.1 but are also allowed to use the previous version (version 1.0). While using the older version, the abovementioned amendments made on the reporting timeframes can be applied. All audits conducted from 1 August 2021 onwards must use the revised Metrics Template (version 2.1).
