    Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    The RSPO principles and criteria are embedded in every department as the company´s policies so that each activity has a social, environmental and economic responsibility.

    Frequent workshops to providers and workers are done to reinforce programs and plans created to improve the company´s performance as well as complying with the RSPO.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    The company works together with Fundación Poligrow, which has various social programs related to education, farmers? market and improving inhabitants´ quality of life.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    The Environmental department is in charge of monitoring the activities and is involved with other departments making sure to comply with the Colombian environmental law and the RSPO principles and criteria.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    The company wants to produce sustainable palm oil having environmental and social responsibility. In such making conservation projects to maintain flora, fauna and water that will provide us with benefits. In the social aspect, the company gives job opportunities for local inhabitants, simultaneously with Fundación Poligrow promoting education and economy diversification. At the same time having economic benefits throughout time.
