Oleificio Salvadori S.r.l.


Oleificio Salvadori of Florence, established in 1900 by Salvadori family, is in the oil market since more than one century, with wide oil range with its own brands and with private labels too. Its products are made for the high streets shops, for the catering and for the national and international large-scale trade too. The management of the company is handed on from father to son since now 3 generations. It found in Ilario Salvadori (the founder) and in his son Bruno, the linker with the greater Tuscany oil culture and tradition, that received new dynamism and expansion starting since the 1982, when Patrizio Salvadori replaced his father Bruno in the Oleificio management. The Oleificio has been able so to take place in the high level market, in our country as well as in the world, without loosing the contact with the artisan knowledge and with the love for the tradition which are the base of the company philosophy. Salvadori, in fact, with an export percentage of the turn over of the 35%, aim to be a promoter of the Italian tradition all over the world. Now Oleificio Salvadori sell in one year more than 100 millions of litres of oil. The company has two different plants, one in Florence and one in Porcari - Lucca. Organisation's Commitments Toward Sustainability

  • How will your organisation promote the RSPO internally and to other stakeholders?
    We will promote RSPO by advertising our entrance as RSPO member and also by sending to our customers technical sheets of certified palm oil, even advertising it on our website.
  • Where relevant, what processes is the organisation establishing to engage with interested parties, for example to resolve conflict or to use sustainably produced palm oil?
    We are looking forward to buy sustainably palm oil and to offer a more sustainably product to our customers.
  • Where relevant, how will your organisation work towards implementing the RSPO Principles and Criteria or assessing supplier performance against these criteria?
    Not relevant, our only Palm Oil supplier is already RSPO certified.
  • Any other information that would support the application such as what your organisation hopes to gain from joining RSPO and how it would support RSPO?
    Joining the RSPO we would like to promote certified palm oil and help to create a sustainable world. We will support RSPO by promoting sustainably palm oil to our customers, in order to create a more suitable environment and a better way to live.
