Together with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Malaysia, RSPO Secretariat would like to invite you to take part in the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Climate Change 100 & Human Rights 100 Enabler programmes. The aim of these programmes is to encourage Malaysian-based businesses to commit to the minimum standards of tackling climate change and human rights issues across all industries.
To achieve this, the UNGC is surveying Malaysian businesses to inform an index rating for Human Rights compliance and GHG emissions. The indices will allow those who are doing exceptionally well to be recognised by UNGC Malaysia and the wider business community. The study will also produce a report on the current condition of Human Rights compliance and GHG emissions among Malaysian firms, with common themes and issues raised in the study, thus, allowing participants to see how where they stand in comparison to contemporary peers and identify their strengths and weaknesses.
Since becoming a member of the UNGC in August 2014, RSPO has been committed to working together to improve sustainability standards and certification across the palm oil supply chain through the promotion of the RSPO Principles & Criteria (P&C), which are aligned with the UNGC Food and Agriculture Business (FAB) Principles.
To participate, please fill in the Human Rights 100 Enabler and Climate Change 100 Enabler questionnaires. Please note that participation in these programmes is voluntary.
