The RSPO is pleased to announce that the Guidance for Independent Smallholders on Managing High Conservation Values in Established Plantation (Criteria 5.2) Guidance for Group Managers (Version 2.4, 09-Dec-2015) is now available for download on our website.

This specific guidance outlines a simplified  HCV approach for independent smallholders for already established oil palm plantation and not applicable for new plantings.

The guidance is developed by HCV Resource Network and SHARP Programme based on and unifies previous HCV guidance for smallholders by Conservation International. This final smallholder procedures for meeting RSPO Criterion 5.2 described in this document were endorsed by the BHCV and SH working groups in November 2015.  
They will be valid from 1st of January, 2016.
