We are pleased to announce that the RSPO Assurance Standing Committee (ASC) will be organising its second virtual Assurance Forum, which aims to provide a platform for both RSPO and non-RSPO members to discuss and provide constructive feedback to further strengthen RSPO’s Assurance Systems.

This meeting will mainly focus on the role of the Assurance Forum, the current gaps in RSPO’s Assurance Systems, performance of RSPO Certification Bodies, and RSPO remote audits.

  • Announcement of the new structure of the revamped Assurance Division within the RSPO Secretariat.


Role of the Assurance Forum 

  • Assurance Forum – Terms of Reference (ToR)

    • Highlight the main points in the draft ToR.


Root Cause Analysis of Assurance Gaps

  • Review the proposed scope and objectives.




Review of ASI Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on Certification Bodies Performance Analysis

  • Provide an update on the progress of the SOP development.


‘Decoupling’ Study

  • Initial recommendations from the International Union for Conservation of Nature National Committee of the Netherlands (IUCN NL) study.


Remote Auditing

  • A summary of RSPO remote audits.
