A workshop for oil palm growers on “How to implement RSPO’s Principles and Criteria in relation to peat?” will be held in Hotel Santika, Bogor, Indonesia, from 1st – 2nd December 2015. The workshop is jointly coordinated and supported by Wetlands International and RSPO.  There is no registration/training fee. However, due to limited capacity, we will be limiting participation to two participants per company.

The duration of the workshop is for 1.5 days (session ends at 1pm on 2nd Dec). The workshop will be held in a mix of Bahasa Indonesia and English and will cover the following topics.

  • Peatland considerations
  • Best Management Practices and sharing experiences
  • RSPO required assessments and compliancy
  • RSPO tools and how to use them
  • Alternative land use and rehabilitation
