From January 2017 onwards, the Book and Claim supply chain model will be handled in RSPO PalmTrace*, like the physical supply chain models of the RSPO (IP, SG and MB). Mills, independent smallholder groups and for the first time also crushers will use RSPO PalmTrace to trade RSPO Credits**.

RSPO, in collaboration with UTZ, will be conducting workshops on the new RSPO trading platform for members in Indonesia. We offer the following two workshops:

 

1. For Independent Smallholder Group Managers and Supporting NGOs

In this workshop, participants have the chance to see the new Book and Claim platform and learn how to use it for trading RSPO Credits.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Transition from GreenPalm to PalmTrace
  • Training on how to use the new system
  • Allocation from physical volume to RSPO Credits
  • Offering RSPO Credits on the market
  • Registering off market deals
  • Question & Answer Session
