The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global partnership to make palm oil sustainable. Today, the RSPO is a global, non-profit organisation with over 6,000 voluntary members across 104 countries and territories, representing every link in the supply chain: oil palm producers, palm oil processors and traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, environmental or nature conservation non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and social or developmental NGOs.

Supporting the organization’s enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. Working closely with senior management and under the guidance of the Senior Manager and CSDTO, the Manager will contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital transformation projects and initiatives. This role requires a combination of analytical, project management, and communication skills to drive successful digital transformation efforts within the organization.

The location of this role is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and it’s a 2 years fixed – term contract.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but will not be limited to the following:

1.

Project Support:

● Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of digital transformation projects and initiatives.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify project milestones, and ensure deliverables are met.

● Support the development and management of project plans, timelines, and budgets.

● Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and proposing solutions.

2.

Data Analysis and Research:

● Conduct research and analysis on digital trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital transformation.

● Assist in evaluating and assessing digital tools, solutions, and technologies to support the organization’s digital transformation goals.

● Analyse data and metrics to track project performance and provide insights to respective stakeholders.

3.

Change Management Support:

● Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to drive digital transformation adoption and acceptance.

● Support communication efforts to stakeholders regarding the benefits and impacts of digital transformation initiatives.

● Contribute to the development of training materials and resources to build digital capabilities within the organization.

4.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather feedback, understand needs, and communicate project updates.

Foster positive relationships with internal teams, departments, and external partners involved in digital transformation initiatives.

Support the organization in fostering a culture of digital readiness and innovation.

5.

Documentation and Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and progress updates.

Maintain project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Contribute to the development of project status reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

6.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation in digital transformation initiatives.

Contribute ideas and suggestions for innovation and improvement within the digital transformation team.

Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to digital transformation

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Education

  • Degree qualified, with appropriate professional qualifications (PMI-PMP)

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years working experience in managing projects and/or ERP implementation cycles.
  • Big 4 consulting experience preferred.

Technical and Professional Knowledge

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyse data to support decision-making.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies, trends, and best practices is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.

Other Special Requirements

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI would be advantageous.
