The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global, non-profit organisation with voluntary members working to transform the palm oil industry to make it sustainable. The Executive, Data Integrity will assist in the transition to and the maintenance of the new prisma, focusing on the integrity, alignment, and strategic use of RSPO’s data. To oversee the integrity and alignment of data within RSPO’s systems, facilitating a smooth transition to the PRISMA and ensuring ongoing data quality for certification, trade, and traceability.
The location of this role is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but will not be limited to the following:
Data Transition & Integration Management

- Oversee the digitisation of Certification’s audit reports into the prisma, ensuring quality and completeness.
- Assist in the implementation of the harmonisation and integration of legacy data into the PRISMA, while co-planning roadmap for data cleanup and management.
Data Quality Assurance & System Alignment

- Ensuring comprehensive data quality standards for the prisma, conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with RSPO divisions/units to align data practices, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient reporting.
- Proactively address and rectify data discrepancies and legacy issues in partnership with relevant divisions/units.
Stakeholder Engagement & Data Governance

- The primary liaison for data integrity matters with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaborative resolution of prisma-related data issues.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Education
- Degree qualified, preferably with a focus in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Environmental Science or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 1 – 2 years working experience in a role focused on data quality, data management and related area.
- Experience in working with large datasets and understanding complex data structure is beneficial.
Technical and Professional Knowledge
- Proven experience with data management and systems integration.
- Familiarity with RSPO certification processes and traceability systems is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work through complex data issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both for internal coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage projects and drive initiatives to completion
Other Special Requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI would be advantageous.
