Bumitama Agri Ltd has proposed a new development plan for its concession that covers an area of 4,836.34 ha located inside its operational area in PT Lestari Gemilang Intisawit (PT LGI) management unit. The plantation properties are located in the subdistrict of Nanga Tayap and Pemahan, Ketapang district, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The NPP verification for PT Lestari Gemilang Intisawit was conducted through document verification and on-site visit. PT TUV Rheinland Indonesia auditors conducted a preliminary document review on 2 June 2022 and an on-site verification on 21 to 22 September 2022.
The summary report of this area is now undergoing a 30-day public comments period as required by the RSPO New Planting Procedure 2021 from 21 November 2022 until 20 December 2022.
