The RSPO NI document of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Island of the RSPO Principles and Criteria 2018 (P&C 2018) has been developed by the participatory of multi-stakeholder groups which have included representation from the relevant sectors. Formation of this National Interpretation Working Group (NIWG) for both countries had ensured all required procedures, communications and actions taken are properly documented and recorded
The RSPO NI document of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Island (NI-PNG&SI) 2018 has been drafted through a comprehensive development process including consultation with all relevant groups in producing provinces to ensure that it accurately reflects the nature of the industry in Papua New Guinea and Solomon Island, particularly national legislation, and customs in the Country whilst maintaining and, in some cases, strengthening the integrity of the RSPO requirements for certification. Both Countries have similar operational landscape and situation therefore, the NI was developed in accordance to meet both regulatory requirements of the respective countries.
We are now inviting Public consultation on the Papua New Guinea and Solomon Island National Interpretation 2018 draft. The draft is in English language.

Consultation Period on the draft which is available for download on the RSPO website will begin from 3rd May 2019 to 3rd July 2019 for the period of 60-Days.
