In response to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the RSPO Jurisdictional Working Group (JWG) is cancelling the face-to-face consultation for the second draft of the RSPO Jurisdictional Approach for Certification, effective immediately. After careful consideration, the consultation period will conclude on COB 30 June 2020. Online comments, which can be submitted through the online survey are welcome until then.
RSPO has cancelled all scheduled consultation workshops as a preventive measure to avoid bringing together, in close proximity, large numbers of attendees at face-to-face consultation workshops.
RSPO will monitor the situation closely and try to mitigate potential impacts from this outbreak with the whole consultation process. We stand ready to resume face-to-face consultation as soon as feasible.
As we are temporarily unable to physically meet to seek your comments, as an interim measure, we will conduct a series of webinars targeting the general public, as follows:
