North Sumatra’s communities are facing a humanitarian crisis. Deadly flooding has caused widespread damage across several rural communities, and RSPO Certified Independent Smallholders (ISH) are amongst those affected. Unprecedented rainfall has destroyed homes and washed away crops, leaving many families facing disruptions to shelter, essential services and road access. Immediate support is crucial to help smallholders recover and rebuild their livelihoods.

Working in partnership with FORTASBI Indonesia, RSPO is calling on our global member base to support relief and recovery efforts that will help restore livelihoods, repair critical infrastructure, and ensure the continuity of responsible and sustainable palm oil production for the following affected RSPO ISH groups:
- Pekebun Sawit Tenggulun Lestari (Aceh Tamiang)
- Koperasi Produsen Palm Lestari Tamiang (Aceh Tamiang)
- Koperasi Produsen Bumi Sawit Tamiang (Aceh Tamiang)
- Koperasi Produsen Sawit Muda Sedia (Aceh Tamiang)
- Koperasi Produsen Tamiang Sawita Lestari (Aceh Tamiang)
- UD Samin (Tapanuli Selatan)
- Petani Sawit Muara Batangtoru (Tapanuli Selatan)
