RSPO Welcomes Loo Jian Sern as Chief Innovation and Operations Officer

We are pleased to welcome Loo Jian Sern as Chief Innovation & Operations Officer, effective 2 March 2026. He will work closely with the CEO to oversee all member-facing functions, including market transformation, technical services, and membership operations. His focus will be on driving systems innovation, operational excellence, and market expansion to transform how RSPO delivers value to its members.

Jian Sern brings over 23 years of leadership experience in corporate innovation, customer experience, digital and business transformation across highly regulated sectors, including banking and telecommunications. His track record includes transforming operations into profit centres and delivering significant productivity gains through AI, digital automation and process re-engineering. He has also led multi-stakeholder collaborations with NGOs, startups, and government agencies, positioning him well to strengthen RSPO’s membership development and global advocacy for sustainable palm oil.
