The RSPO is pleased to invite members to a global, Consumer Goods Manufacturers (CGM)-focused webinar dedicated to strengthening market support for independent smallholders (ISH). Co-hosted with Dian Wahyusari from Procter & Gamble, this session aims to address challenges and market incentives for ISH. We will reflect on the positive social, environmental and livelihood impacts that smallholder support can deliver.

Why Attend?

This webinar is designed to raise awareness of the crucial role independent smallholders play in the palm supply chain, as well as the social, environmental, and livelihood positive impacts that result from supporting the certification of smallholder groups under the RSPO Standard. The session will feature:

  • Education: A deep dive into current mechanisms for supporting ISH by purchasing IS Credits through on-market or off-market deals, as well as the positive impacts on the environment, society, and livelihoods delivered by the RSPO certification of ISH.
  • Market Intelligence: A direct forum for CGMs to provide feedback on the assurance and enabling conditions needed to facilitate future purchases.

Schedule:

To accommodate global time zones, we are offering two sessions:

  • Session 1: 9 September 2026, 2:00 PM (GMT+8), 8:00 AM CEST. Please register here.
  • Session 2: 14 September 2026, 8:00 PM (GMT+8), 2:00 PM CEST. Please register here.
