Easier Information Access and Answers through Online Platform

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) recently introduced its new online platform to better facilitate queries from RSPO-approved Certification Bodies (CBs).

Jointly developed by RSPO and Accreditation Services International (ASI), the RSPO Interpretation Forum was launched on 1st July 2013 as an online forum that receives and manages Questions and Answers (Q&A) from CBs more efficiently aside from recognizing and standardizing answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). It also serves as a knowledge sharing hub between RSPO with CBs and Trainers.

Among the range of topics available in the RSPO Interpretation Forum are on the RSPO Principles and Criteria (P&C), Supply Chain Certification, Greenhouse Gases, Biodiversity and High Conservation Value, Smallholders, Trademark and so on.

The RSPO Interpretation Forum is only accessible by CBs and Trainers at present where they can log in using assigned User IDs to either post questions for RPSO to answer or to search for existing answers.

RSPO anticipates the forum to be highly beneficial as it will be a time-saving tool for both CBs as well as RSPO.
