The RSPO is in the process of commencing a review of its Complaints and Appeals Procedures (CAP) 2017 and is interested in engaging a consultant with demonstrable expertise to perform the review.
The RSPO Complaints System is a fair, transparent and impartial process to duly handle and address complaints against RSPO members for allegations of breaches of any of the provisions within the RSPO key documents. It is regulated by the CAP 2017.
Five (5) years after its introduction and implementation, the RSPO Secretariat is now calling interested parties with demonstrable qualifications and expertise to assist in its review. Additionally, in pursuit of improving its internal procedures and systems, RSPO is also seeking to explore the idea of elevating the existing Complaints System into a wider Grievance System which harmonises the various intricate processes and systems within the RSPO ecosystem.
Interested applicants are advised to read the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to complaints@rspo.org by 26 August 2022, 5:00 PM MYT (GMT+8). The EOI should consist of a detailed and updated CV of the candidate; a short proposal [no more than two (2) pages] on how they intend to pursue the review; estimated fees; and two referrals.
