The RSPO National Interpretations (NI) for the 2024 Principles and Criteria (P&C) for Indonesia (INANI) and Malaysia (MYNI) were endorsed by the RSPO Board of Governors (BoG) on 17 March 2026. The INANI and MYNI will become effective on 31 May 2026, in alignment with the RSPO Principles and Criteria (P&C) 2024.

The documents are now available on the RSPO website and will be used for the implementation and certification of RSPO members in their respective countries from the effective date.

The Indonesia NI for P&C and Malaysia NI for P&C were developed by their respective National Interpretation Task Forces, with balanced representation from all relevant stakeholder groups. The development process included a series of physical and virtual meetings conducted in accordance with international best practices. Public consultations were also carried out to raise awareness and to gather feedback and input on the NI documents.
