OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
The incumbent is to manage the day to day administration for procurement to ensure that processes and controls are followed.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
- To ensure that all procurement queries coming in to [email protected] are attended to and replied within 48 hours of receipt.
- To ensure that new vendor registration are to be verified, followed up and filled in a timely manner.
- To ensure that all internal stakeholders are compliant with procurement controls including vendor verification, quotation sourcing, contracting and vendor evaluation.
- To ensure that approved procurements are legally contracted and variations are documented in a timely manner.
- To liaise and train internal stakeholders on the usage of the Salesforce procurement application.
- To prepare for and assist in the internal and ISO audit preparation.
- Apart from the duties stated above, to perform any duty or duties reasonably assigned.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minimum of three (3) years working experience in the area of Contract / Vendor / Procurement Management.
TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE
- Experience in procurement administration.
- Strong communications & interpersonal skills are essential in order to develop and establish cooperation and rapport with internal and external stakeholder at working levels and of diverse nationalities.
- Strong commercial orientation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in English with good communication and written skills.
- Is detail oriented and with good organisation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact with different stakeholders is essential.
- Ability in establishing cooperation and rapport with internal and external parties of different backgrounds and/or nationalities.
- High integrity and a good team player.
- Conscientious and willing to take responsibility.
