OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
The Assurance and Standard Development Executive will be responsible for assisting both the Assurance and Standard Development Manager in Indonesia in ensuring that projects of both departments are developed and implemented according to plan.
The Executive will also contribute towards achieving the RSPO goals by accepting ownership in delivering all assigned tasks, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Whilst having a global perspective, the incumbent will have primary responsibilities for Indonesia within the framework of the RSPO Indonesian Regional office work plans.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support to the Assurance Manager to implement programmes and meet the objectives set in the RSPO Theory of Change and respective Roadmap.
- Liaise and advise RSPO members in Indonesia on the RSPO Principle and Criteria and certification related matters including to maintain and monitor the implementation of their Time Bound Plan.
- Support any RSPO events that relate to certification and standard development process.
- Provide support to the Assurance Manager and Standard Development Manager in Indonesia to review and upload notification, reports and other documents onto the RSPO website and other communication tools.
- Support the Assurance Team and Standard Development Team in maintaining the RSPO website related to RSPO certification and standard development activities.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
- Minimum a Bachelors Degree in in Environmental Science or Environmental Management or it’s equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in handling relevant issues.
