OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the RSPO Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System in order to provide insight into the effectiveness of strategies and supporting activities. Through monitoring and evaluation of indicators, enable RSPO to assess progress, performance, and impact, as well as provide the evidence and insight to validate or negate assumptions for continuous improvements.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Head of Impacts, the incumbent will be responsible for

  • To develop, implement and strengthen the RSPO M&E system and procedures, including development of gathering tools.
  • To develop, monitor and evaluate output, outcome and impacts (M&E) indicators based on strategies and activities in the TOC and causal chains.
  • To monitor and evaluate the overall achievements and progress of M&E indicators and provide feedback to respective head of department, managers or/and executives on strategies and activities.
  • Collect, report and distribute monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress of M&E indicators internally and externally.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

  • You should have  at least a Bachelors’ degree in Environmental Science or it’s equivalent.
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in M&E environment or social programs.
  • Experience in the Palm Oil industry will be advantageous.
