The Assurance Standing Committee (ASC) was established as a result of the RSPO Governance Review undertaken in March 2019. The objectives of ASC are to identify all
necessary actions to ensure robust assessment, verification and certification against the RSPO standard (Principles and Criteria as well as Supply Chain Standards) and to identify the
relevant stakeholders required to deliver these actions as outlined in the ASC’s Terms of Reference (ToR).
The ASC is a sub-group of the BoG and members are from growers, NGOs, and supply chain actors which can be found on the RSPO website. During the first physical meeting, ASC members highlighted the need to hire an independent facilitator to manage the ASC and its Working Groups (WGs) and Task Forces (TFs). This is to ensure accuracy of information transpired from the ASC meetings as well as reporting on the progress of the work plans of the ASC/WGs/TFs .
Interested applicants are advised to read and consider the ToR (attached) and submit their expression of interest together with their profile, relevant expertise, the day rate for the time spent or cost for a 2-year term and name and contact details of two referees (referees would not be contacted unless the expression of interest is taken forward).
Kindly submit your expression of interest to [email protected] by 6:00pm MYT on 14 February 2020.
For any queries, kindly contact Wan Muqtadir at [email protected].
