The RSPO Certification Systems for the Principles and Criteria (P&C) and the RSPO Independent Smallholder (ISH) Standard have undergone revision under the supervision of the RSPO Standard Standing Committee (SSC) and the RSPO Assurance Standing Committee (ASC). The revised documents were endorsed by the SSC on 14 November 2025. They will become effective after a six-month transition period, on 14 May 2026.

The English version of the Certification Systems is already available on the RSPO website, and all translated versions (Bahasa Indonesia, French, Spanish and Thai) have now been published as well. All documents can be found in the Resources section of the RSPO website.

Until the revised 2025 Certification Systems become effective, all RSPO P&C and ISH audits shall continue to be conducted in accordance with the current 2020 RSPO Certification Systems for the Principles and Criteria and the RSPO Independent Smallholder Standard.
